QUETTA: The Balochistan health department has completed the screening of over 76000 people in the province with regarding to corona virus. Up till now, no case of corona virus has been reported from any part of Balochistan, Dr. Faheem Khan, the Director General health Balochistan told a news conference on Monday.

The government has installed screening system at Pak-Iran border Taftan and Afghan border Chaman to trace out corona virus patients. “Two borders at target points for screening”, Dr. Faheem said. He said 3425 people were quarantined at Pak-Iran  border Taftan.

The government has made a plant to quarantine the Zaireen at HazarGanji after their arrival from Pak-Iran border Taftan.

In response to a question, Dr. Faheem Khan informed that suspected cases were sent to laboratory but so far 12 reports have come negative and the rest are yet to be investigated.

Pakistan has already closed its borders with Iran and Afghanistan after reports of corona cases in Iran and Afghanistan. So far, seven people have been tested positive for the deadly corona virus in Pakistan. Dr. Zafar Mirza, the adviser to Prime Minister on health said four people have been tested positive for corona virus in Sindh and three in the federal capital.

The health department government of Balochistan has already cancelled leave, training and deputation of employees to cope with corona virus.
