The Corona Virus has spread around 73 countries and territories around the globe, prompting the World Health Organization (WHO) chief of warning of more deaths and cases. The number of affected worldwide reached 90000 people.

The virus has spread to six continents except Antarctica. States have declared emergencies to cope with the deadly virus, which has claimed over 3115 lives globally. China’s Wuhan province where the virus was first reported has been the worst affected territory.

“We are struggling to contain the disease”, the WHO chief Dr. Tedros Adhanom said in a statement. He said medical workers were battling the virus globally putting their lives at risk while saving the lives of fellow citizens.

Besides China, the worst affected countries from corona virus are Iran, Italy and South Korea. In Iran, the virus has caused 55 deaths with over 1000 affected.

Pakistan has also confirmed five cases so far. Dr. Zafar Mirza, the federal health adviser to prime minister said five cases of corona virus were confirmed across the country. Pakistan has also closed its borders with Iran and Afghanistan, declaring emergency to cope with the virus.

Saudi Arabia has also confirmed first case of corona virus on Monday evening. Countries have suspended flights to affected territories and the world is bracing for new economic recession in view of increasing cases of corona virus.
