QUETTA: Pakistan has decided to close Pak-Afghan border Chaman to halt corona virus. The interior  ministry has issued a notification and directed the concerned quarters to keep the border closed from March 2nd for a week.

The step has been taken to halt the spread of corona virus in the country. All trade and business activities at the border would be suspended for a week.

Corona virus cases have been reported in Afghanistan and increasing number of corona virus cases in Iran have sent alarm bells in Pakistan. So far, four cases of corona virus have been confirmed in Pakistan. Federal adviser on health, Dr. Zafar Mirza said that all the patients had travel history of Iran.
