QUETTA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday lodged FIR against unknown accused in connection with Quetta suicide bombing. The blast in Quetta’s Adalat road near press club martyred seven people including two policemen.

The case was registered in civil  line police station in Quetta. Murder, act of murder, terrorism and other acts relating to terrorism are mentioned in the FIR, a police official who declined to be named told Quetta Voice.

In the meantime, the deputy inspector general of police Quetta, Abdul Razzaq Cheema said that an  investigation was ordered to probe into the bombing. He said the investigation team visited the spot and collected evidence in this regard.

Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has also strongly condemned the incident and directed the  police to file report within next 24 hours. The perpetrators of the blast would not be spared and they would be brought to book, Jam Kamal said in a statement issued to the press.
