QUETTA: Members of Balochistan Assembly have strongly condemned Quetta blast and termed it a conspiracy against the peace of the province. Session of Balochistan Assembly began here with Speaker Qudoos Bizenjo in the chair.

Speaking on feasibility of the adjournment motion, Balochistan National Party (Mengal) MPA, Sanaullah Baloch said the province was under the grip of flames of fire for a long time. He lamented that innocent people were martyred in the blast, which destroyed the peace of the province.

Opposition leader in Balochistan Assembly, Malik Sikandar Advocate said innocent people were targeted in the terrorist attack. He stated that law and order situation was going from bad to worst and the government appears to be least bothered about improvement of security situation.

Zamarak Achakzai, the Awami National Party’s parliamentary leader who is part of the coalition government said his government was committed to make sure peace of the province. He said the culprits involved in the attack would be brought to book. He said scores of ANP workers were martyred during various terrorist attacks in the country.

Opposition leader Malik Sikandar Advocate however announced that opposition legislators would stage protest demo outside chief minister’s secretariat against worsening law and order situation and interference in opposition constituencies.

Earlier, the house offered fateha for the departed souls in Quetta bombing.
